Job Description Summary This role is responsible for overseeing the sales technology platform that enables sponsorship revenue and driving the integrated marketing campaigns associated with strategic events. This role will administer the sales system, manage its output, coordinate with internal stakeholders to act on sales results, and provide customer service and support on behalf of the system. The position collaborates cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to maximize event impact, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional sponsor and attendee experiences.

Responsibilities

Sales Technology Administration: Administer and steward the sales technology platform: implement, configure, maintain, and monitor functionality; ensure data integrity; maintain prospect and sponsor distribution lists; generate and analyze reports; provide weekly updates and forecasts.

Customer Service & System Output: Respond to inquiries received through the sales system; interpret system outputs to inform internal stakeholders; coordinate the delivery of sponsor benefits and registration based on system data; act as the liaison for sponsors via the platform.

Event Operations: Plan and execute event logistics: coordinate with venues, AV, F&B, housing, security, and exhibitors; manage RFPs, contract negotiation and administration; facilitate daily operations of assigned events; support the business mechanics of events: assist with budget setting, monitor forecasts, aid in reconciliation, and report on key performance indicators and results.

Targeted Event Marketing: Design and implement integrated marketing programs for events, including pre-event promotion, registration communications, and post-event engagement; manage the marketing calendar and ensure brand consistency.

Operational Excellence & Compliance: Partner with programming, brand, legal/compliance, finance, and external vendors; enforce policies and best practices; stay abreast of industry trends and organizational objectives.

Salary Range $92,788.00-$130,326.32

Required Education, Certifications and Experience Education

Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Experience

Required 5+ Years experience in meeting planning and event management

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Effective sales and business development skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Proven experience with CRM/sales technology platforms, data management, reporting and analytics.

Strong customer service skills and ability to act as liaison on behalf of a system.

Ability to quickly learn new software applications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask.

Independent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proven success in project management and attention to detail.

A candidate's position within the hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for annual bonus incentive pay.
