Vice President of Sales and Marketing The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will provide leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals.
Responsibilities and Duties
Builds relationships and partnerships with key collaborators in markets (Insurance Companies, Hospital Systems, Accountable Care Organizations)
Identifies potential strategic partners, alliances and relationships to expand core product lines or bring new product lines to the organization
Serves as leader in developing new business and strategic partnerships
Develops and recommends positioning and marketing strategy to produce highest possible long‑term market share
Identifies sales opportunities in new markets and new business lines
Develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategy (Market Opportunity, Differentiation, Positioning, etc.)
Monitors competitor sales and marketing activities
Forecasts and manages sales goals in each market to meet or exceed company sales growth objectives
Develops and manages all company marketing and communications
Creates innovative and effective ways for Territory Managers and Inside Sales Representatives to grow sales
Directs and coordinates company sales and marketing functions
Researches and develops strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development
Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results
Directly manages major and critical developing referral sources and coordinate the management of all other accounts
Establishes and implements short‑ and long‑range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
Represents the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education: College Graduate — Master’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive management experience
Experience in strategic planning and execution
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
Travel up to 50% of the time
