Join 7‑Eleven’s Digital Team as a Senior Manager of Digital Product Management - Retail Media. The Marketing Technology team focuses on building Retail Media infrastructures and defining Retail Media for 7‑Eleven’s on‑site technologies (e.g., 7‑Eleven & 7NOW Application).
Product managers define product strategy, develop, launch, and enhance products and services that drive our business forward. You’ll work closely with our technology team to define product requirements and coordinate resources from key stakeholders, identify and track KPIs, and build experiences. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual comfortable with ambiguity, with a strong ability to problem‑solve, and work cross‑functionally.
Responsibilities
Retail Media Strategy & Vision
Define long‑term strategy for the retail media network, ensuring alignment with Gulp Media’s broader vision.
Establish clear business metrics and KPIs (e.g., ad revenue, campaign effectiveness, user engagement) and the technical infrastructure developed to support them.
Lead product vision, road‑mapping, goal setting, and rollout strategy.
Technical Infrastructure, System Integrations and Oversight
Identify and manage integration of optimal ad tech tools for seamless content and ad management.
Ad inventory management: ensure CMS and ad server properly configure inventory, ads placed on the right products or pages.
Ad tech stack management: oversee technical architecture for ad serving, ensuring integrations with third‑party ad servers, CMS, and OMS are scalable, secure, and efficient.
Platform scalability: work with engineering to ensure infrastructure scales as ad traffic and content volumes increase.
Product Development
Translate business goals and user needs into actionable product strategies and priorities.
Lead user research, test assumptions, and turn insights into product improvements.
Remove obstacles, prioritize stakeholder requests, and provide regular leadership updates.
Use data to uncover opportunities, track product performance, and drive decision‑making.
Conduct Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean rituals to promote ongoing communication and iterative refinement.
Ad Product & Monetization Strategy
Define and refine in‑app ad products: create and enhance formats such as sponsored products, native ads, and in‑feed ads to integrate with the shopping experience.
Optimize in‑app ad revenue models: collaborate to design and optimize CPC, CPM, CPA models aligned with user engagement.
Innovate with new ad formats: explore and implement interactive, video, and shoppable ads that let users engage and purchase without leaving the app.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 3 years of experience in digital product management
Minimum 5 years of experience developing retail media networks
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or engineering
MBA or master’s degree
2‑4 years of experience in Agile product management in digital/advertising technology
Hands‑on experience integrating ad servers and content management systems within digital environments, particularly in apps, websites, or e‑commerce platforms
Experience in retail, e‑commerce, or digital advertising environments, with understanding of retail media networks revenue
