Responsibilities
Create full-color computer-generated graphics/vinyl for substrates
Complete or modify designs from customer drawings/files
Determine size/arrangement, select type, arrange layout for production
Inspect jobs for accuracy, ensure correct material and output settings
Follow layout to place vinyl or full-color images on predetermined medium
Prepare substrates for vinyl application (cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning)
Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images, using techniques that vary by size/type/complexity
Maintain customer logo library and convert graphic files
Operate and maintain printer(s)
Perform quality assurance pre/post-production by reading Work Order and proofing for errors or standards
Proficient in hand and power tools
Prioritize jobs, multi-task, work autonomously
Work under pressure to output high volume high-quality work
Ideal Qualifications
3-5 years of graphic design experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
Determine best output method based on customer’s needs
Sit and view computer screen for long periods (4+ hrs)
Work under pressure for high volume high-quality work
