Responsibilities

  • OverseethedevelopmentofthePaidSocialMediaTeam
  • DriveonboardingofanyclientswithaSocialMediachanneltobeactivated
  • Provideoversightonhowtobuild,scale,andoptimizecampaignsleveragingbestpractices
  • EitherdirectlymanageindividualSocial-onlyaccountsorworkcollaborativelyaspartofaholisticmediaplanningteam
  • Performtechnicalauditsfornewandexistingbusinessforpitchesandidentificationofadditionalopportunities
  • ParticipateincrossfunctionaltraininginandoutsideoftheSocialDepartment,collaboratingwithDigital,Search,Creative,OrganicSocialandAccountServiceteamsonstrategyandresults
  • CommunicatewithclientsdirectlyorviaAccountServicesaroundresults,tests,andneedsonaweekly,monthly,orquarterlybasis.
  • Actastheliaisonwithouragencypartners–Facebook,Snapchat,Pinterest,LinkedIn,YouTube,Tik-Tok,andothers
  • Coachtheteamonwriting/testingrelevantadcopy,creativeassets,andassistingwithlandingpageoptimization
  • Provideon-goingupdatestothedepartmentonnewSocialtechnologyandplatforms,aswellasevolvingbestpracticesinthespace
  • Developanddocumenttrainingtoassistcoachingteammembers
  • Serveasanescalationpointforoperationaland/orclientneeds

Qualifications

  • 8-10yearsofexperiencedevelopingstrategicPaidSocialrecommendationsandstewardingsocialmediaaccountprojects,actingasaclientcontact
  • Deepunderstandingofadvancedanalyticsandperformancemedia
  • Strongfamiliaritywithmarketingprinciples,analyticsandconcepts
  • ExceptionallyskilledinExcelandPowerPointwiththeabilitytodiscusshowthosefunctionscanorshouldbeappliedrelativetotheSocialMediaplanningprocess
  • ExpertinnegotiatingandconstructingSocialMediaplans,withunderstandingofplanning,buyingandactivation
  • ExperiencebuyingadsonFacebookandInstagramiscrucial,additionalplatformspreferred
  • Exposuretoadvancedtargeting/retargetingtacticsinsocial,usedboth1stand3rdpartydata
  • Experienceowningthefullsocialstrategyprocessinclusiveofworkingwithpartners,clientsandinternalstakeholders
  • Exceptionalverbalandwrittencommunicationskills;abletoconfidentlypresentand“sellthrough”ideasbothinternallyandtoClients,whilecoachingteammembersontheseskills
  • Comfortowningandmanagingbudget/investmentlevelsinSocialMediaacrossmultipleaccounts
  • Strongexperiencenavigatingcross-departmentrelationships
  • Leadershipandsupervisoryexperienceintermsofdevelopingmediaprofessionals,includingstrategicandmanagementskills
