About the Role
This is a flexible, in-the-field photography role that involves traveling to homes across Austin and capturing high-quality real estate photo and video content. All equipment and full training are provided.
You will thrive here if you enjoy meeting new people, love the art of small talk, and can stay focused on producing clean, consistent work. Training can begin as soon as we find the right person!
Daily responsibilities include:
- Travel to properties to capture real estate media using company-provided gear
- Represent the brand with positivity, trust, and professionalism
- Interact with homeowners and agents in a warm, confident way
- Follow structured checklists for each shoot
- Upload raw files after each job, no editing required
- Maintain focus on details while still being friendly and conversational
Pay Structure
- Paid training at $15 per hour
- $25 per unit for standard photoshoots (each unit represents 60 minutes of scheduled on-site time)
- $30 per unit once you obtain an FAA Part 107 drone certification
- Additional pay for video work and specialty services, based on project scope
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.30 per mile
Pay is piece rate and based on scheduled on-site time. Drive time is partially reimbursed through mileage.
Ideal Schedule
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Total scheduling flexibility is preferred
- Work primarily occurs between 9 AM and 5 PM
- Training can begin immediately, and the goal is to be fully prepared for the mid-January busy season
Required Qualifications
- Lives in or near central Austin
- Valid driver’s license and reliable, presentable vehicle
- High-speed internet at home for file uploads
- Modern smartphone that can run required apps
Bonus Skills
- Prior experience working with people-facing roles such as hospitality, retail, service, or customer support
- Any basic familiarity with cameras or creative tools
- Strong interest in improving technical skills and growing with the team
