Job Overview The Vice President (VP) of Marketing is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing a cohesive marketing strategy that drives revenue growth, expands market share, and enhances brand awareness. This executive will lead all facets of the marketing organization, including brand, digital marketing, product marketing, public relations, and content strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and champion a holistic, long‑term marketing strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Define the company’s unique value proposition (UVP) and overall brand positioning.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer data to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high‑performing marketing team across multiple functions.
Foster a culture of data‑driven decision‑making, creativity, and accountability.
Manage the annual marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across channels and initiatives to maximize ROI.
Oversee the development and maintenance of a strong, consistent, and recognizable brand identity and voice.
Direct corporate communications, public relations efforts, and crisis management.
Lead all digital marketing initiatives (GEO, SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing) to drive traffic and qualified leads.
Optimize the marketing funnel from awareness to conversion, focusing on key performance indicators such as CAC and LTV.
Partner with product development and sales teams to define product launch strategies, messaging, and go‑to‑market plans.
Ensure the sales team is equipped with compelling collateral, presentations, and training materials.
Oversee the content strategy, including thought leadership, case studies, blog posts, and multimedia assets, ensuring content aligns with buyer personas and journey stages.
Minimum Qualifications
Deep understanding of performance results‑driven marketing.
Ability to synthesize insights and recommendations for optimization of performance across a broad range of quantitative and qualitative sources.
Experience with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
Strong project management skills.
Experience collaborating closely with sales teams and executive teams.
Ability to educate, motivate and lead direct reports and team members.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects based on priorities and deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills that enable translating complex data into productive discussions and effective presentations.
Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills; attention to detail and curiosity to want to know how things work.
Eager to work in a collaborative and results‑oriented team environment.
Ability to travel and work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
10 years of marketing experience.
5+ years of management experience.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful, measurable marketing strategies that drive significant revenue growth.
Deep expertise in both traditional and new marketing strategies.
Experience in the education industry is highly desirable.
