Sales Compensation Design, Specialist, Amazon Ads - Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC)
Amazon Advertising is seeking a Sales Compensation Design, Specialist for its rapidly growing Global Advertising business. The ideal candidate is curious with strong business acumen, a relationship builder with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and an analytical thinker that dives deep into problem solving. They thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, have excellent written and verbal communication, are detail-oriented and comfortable working with numerous stakeholders in an environment with considerable ambiguity.
Key Job Responsibilities
Support sales incentive design for Global sales team(s)
Uses data and analytics to model various Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) scenarios and make design recommendations
Collaborate with team members to build cohesive, data-driven stories to describe sales compensation related problems and proposed solutions
Ensure sales incentive plans are implementable via tools, process, and controls.
Support sales readiness related to incentive program design, including content strategy and training delivery.
Support program management of the end-to-end sales compensation design cycle.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience in finance, business management and sales operations
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
