Director Channel Marketing
Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent.
10+ years of financial services industry marketing experience, with a strong preference for experience in retirement channel marketing.
Financial services industry experience, preferably within asset management.
Deep understanding of the retirement ecosystem, including recordkeepers, advisors, and consultants’ evaluation of investment options across mutual funds, CITs, and separate accounts, and the ability to translate technical product distinctions into compliant, compelling marketing narratives.
Collaborative, hands‑on leadership approach with ability and willingness to lead and support initiatives beyond defined responsibilities.
Results‑driven, data‑informed, and motivated to continuously improve marketing effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative insights.
Thrives in fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, along with strong organizational and project management capabilities and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Pluses
Experience working in or supporting retirement-focused distribution channels including Broker‑Dealer, RIA, and institutional consulting environments.
Experience partnering with enterprise marketing technology platforms, segmentation tools, and advanced analytics frameworks.
Duties
Design, shape, and lead the retirement channel marketing strategy in alignment with firm‑wide business objectives and ensure integration across Broker‑Dealer, RIA, retirement platforms, regional bank, and consulting distribution channels.
Partner closely with National Accounts, Sales, Product, and senior leadership to translate growth objectives into targeted, actionable marketing strategies that strengthen advisor engagement and drive net new retirement channel flows.
Oversee the development and execution of integrated, data‑driven marketing campaigns that effectively position the organization’s retirement solutions across intermediary channels using segmentation, insights, and performance analytics.
Collaborate with Insights and analytics partners to design and maintain a structured performance measurement framework, including advisor engagement metrics, segmentation performance, and campaign effectiveness.
Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Customer Growth, Creative, Digital, Content, Brand Marketing, and Compliance teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and brand‑consistent marketing programs.
Represent the organization’s brand both internally and externally while building and maintaining strategic relationships with distribution partners and ensuring alignment on co‑branded initiatives and enterprise‑level marketing activity.
Continuously refine marketing processes, tools, and workflows to improve scalability, efficiency, and alignment with enterprise marketing technology platforms.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors that drive results, foster a culture of collaboration, promote innovation, and support agility and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
