Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Interior Design Sales Consultant based in Columbia, MD. In this role, consultants will work closely with clients to deliver exceptional customer service by providing personalized interior design solutions. Responsibilities include developing creative design concepts, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales by offering expert advice on furniture, layouts, and finishes. The consultant will also ensure that individual design projects align with clients’ needs while meeting company standards for quality and style.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with clients effectively and build lasting relationships
Expertise in Interior Design and Furniture, including knowledge of design principles, materials, and customization options
Proven ability in Sales with a results‑oriented approach to meeting sales goals
Ability to collaborate with a creative team and work in an on‑site showroom environment
Relevant experience in interior design, furniture, or retail sales is highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is a plus
