Your Role The Senior Manager, US Fertility Patient Marketing, will develop and implement core US marketing launch activities directed at patients for a potential product approval in Fertility. This indication represents a significant opportunity to address an unmet need with patients in the US.
This role will partner across key stakeholders (global, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, compliance, patient services, market access, marketing operations, training, sales, market research, etc.) to develop patient brand strategy and execute programs and tactics. This position reports into US Fertility leadership and will work in close partnership with the broader Fertility teams. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:
Help develop patient strategy and corresponding tactical plans for key market-shaping and branded activities, determine budgets, timelines and metrics for program success to ensure brand launch success in collaboration with cross‑functional partners
Lead the Medical Legal Review process by monitoring and ensuring all Medical Legal Review (MLR) processes are followed, and all programs are compliant with MLR guidance and corporate policies
Interpret and translate clinical data and market research insights for use in patient marketing materials
Collaborate with broader Fertility marketing team to ensure strategic alignment and execution across the EMD Serono Fertility portfolio
Cultivate strong relationships with patient advocacy groups, brand ambassadors, and external strategic partners in collaboration with patient advocacy and patient services
Develop and execute full year patient advisory board plan to support business needs
Compliantly support the development and execution of a patient support program in collaboration with Patient Access Solutions
Partner with digital agency of record to develop strategy and execution for digital promotion and media
Work with internal and external partners to define success metrics and analyse performance of marketing programmes on an ongoing basis, ensuring plans are optimised as needed to improve impact, and develop recommendations for future plans
Lead partner agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget
Other duties as assigned
This position offers flexible work arrangements, allowing for hybrid or onsite options at our Boston, MA (Seaport area) location.
Who You Are Minimum Qualifications
5+ years (or 3+ years with advanced degree) proven experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry brand marketing or related agency experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Prior in‑line or equivalent patient marketing experience, with 2+ years in a product manager role strongly desired
Proficient in digital marketing and media tactics directed towards patients
Available to travel up to 30%

Pay Range for this position: $132,600 – $198,800.
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job‑related factors.
