Overview
Global e-commerce is a content-driven e-commerce business with an international short‑video product as its main channel. The mission is to enable users to discover and purchase good products at affordable prices, while merchants benefit from reliable platform services across live e‑commerce, short video content e‑commerce, and more. The Content e‑commerce team builds an ecosystem for customers, creators, and merchants to collaborate and succeed.
Responsibilities
Refine and optimize the core architecture of the Content e‑commerce platform to achieve high availability, scalability, and maintainability.
Oversee project priorities and deliver quality architectural deliverables, driving technical initiatives from inception to deployment.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive technical plan that anticipates future challenges, keeping the platform at the industry forefront and driving business results through forward‑thinking planning.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Infra, SRE, and QA to align and amplify the architectural vision and engineering roadmap.
Research and apply new technologies relevant to the content e‑commerce business.
Lead and mentor the engineering team, overseeing hiring, nurturing career progression, and providing ongoing training and mentorship.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 2+ years leading a software engineering team, 5+ years of large‑scale backend system development, experience with live‑streaming or e‑commerce preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Strong business understanding, technical learning and transfer ability, sense of responsibility, excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Information Compensation:
$198,360 – $416,100 annually. Base pay is part of the total package and may be supplemented with discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
