The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, established in 1885, consists of 16 branches and a destination camp and employs over 2,500 staff - all dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected, and secure children, adults, families and communities. We are one of the largest YMCAs in North America and serve over 200,000 people annually through programs and events. We are currently seeking a Regional Marketing Director who will lead branch marketing strategies, drive growth in key programs, and deliver creative support for assigned branches—all while collaborating with leadership to ensure campaigns align with the association’s goals and brand standards.

The Regional Marketing Director is responsible for setting the direction and execution of branch marketing support strategies in alignment with individual branch goals and the Association Office (AO) Marketing and Communications strategy. This role is critical in driving growth across YMCA programs and branches through effective marketing execution, creative services, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Regional Marketing Director will initially focus on developing and implementing marketing strategies to support Sports growth, as well as delivering high-quality marketing support for assigned branches: Lake Highlands, Moorland, T. Boone Pickens, and Waxahachie. Later responsibilities could include developing and implementing marketing strategies to also support growth of the Y’s Childcare and Swim programs. This position reports directly to the SVP/Chief Brand Officer and has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership

Develop and oversee branch marketing support strategies that align with Association Marketing and Communications objectives and branch-specific goals.

Execute and evolve the established cross-marketing framework across Youth Sports, Childcare, and supported branches to maximize reach and impact.

With the SVP/Chief Brand Officer and Associate Vice President of Marketing, administer and maintain Association promotional budgets, with direct responsibility for all digital and traditional campaigns for key areas of responsibility within the overall budget as a part of the Marketing & Communications team.

Serve as a trusted partner and marketing advisor to branch leadership teams.

Execution & Creative Services

Lead the design, development, and distribution of marketing materials across print, digital, and social channels.

Manage and execute requests for graphic design, email, web, and social content for Youth Sports and assigned branches.

Oversee promotional advertising efforts to support program enrollment, membership, and community engagement at Lake Highlands, Moorland, T. Boone Pickens, and Waxahachie YMCAs.

Ability to develop wide-ranging campaigns that resonate with varied communities.

Commitment to upholding YMCA Brand Standards to ensure alignment with the national Y’s brand identity.

Program & Branch Marketing Support

Implement targeted campaigns to increase Youth Sports participation.

Coordinate and deliver branch-specific marketing needs, ensuring brand consistency and quality.

Provide creative and technical support across multiple channels, including website content management, email marketing, and social media.

Collaboration & Communication

Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team members to align regional efforts with overall association strategy.

Partner with vendors, as needed, to extend creative and marketing capacity as needed.

Regularly evaluate marketing effectiveness and adjust strategies to meet goals.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

7-10 years of professional marketing experience with demonstrated success in program, service, or regional marketing roles.

Experience supporting multiple business units, branches, or locations preferred.

Skills & Competencies Required

Proficiency in Canva (required); Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design tools a plus.

Experience with email marketing platforms; Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a strong plus.

Proficiency with social media management platforms

Proven success with digital advertising.

Strong project management and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication, creative, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong relationships with branch staff and leadership.

Desirable

Adobe Creative Suite fluency.

Photography and videography experience.
