Senior Director, Product Design Chime

Location: San Francisco, CA

Salary: $292,400$372,800 base (may vary by location, experience), plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

About the Role

Were looking for a Senior Director of Product Design to lead and inspire our talented product design team. As our Senior Director, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of Chimes consumerfacing mobile experiences, ensuring they are beautiful, intuitive, and empowering for millions of members. Your leadership will shape how we deliver visually appealing and highquality mobile products, making financial progress accessible for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
• Define and drive Chimes product design vision, ensuring we create mobile experiences that are visually stunning and easy to use.
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that prioritize our members needs.
• Oversee endtoend design execution, from user research and wireframing to highfidelity visuals and productionready assets.
• Champion a humancentered design approach, leveraging data and user insights to drive decisions.
• Ensure consistency and excellence in our design language and systems across all products.
• Advocate for the importance of design in driving business growth and consumer trust.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product design, with 5+ years leading highperforming design teams.
• Track record of delivering highquality, visually compelling consumer mobile products at scale.
• Expertise in mobilefirst design principles, UX best practices, and visual storytelling.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow teams, instilling a culture of design excellence.
• Experience working closely with product managers and engineers to translate business needs into engaging user experiences.
• Deep understanding of user research, datadriven design, and usability testing.
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, iterative environment and passion for making financial tools more accessible.
