Akkodis is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA(Remote). The ideal candidate will lead the design of employee-facing digital solutions by translating complex user needs into intuitive, human‑centric experiences.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $63/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Lead design initiatives using design thinking principles to advocate for human‑centric, inclusive experiences across employee‑facing digital solutions.
• Translate complex user needs into practical design solutions grounded in research and aligned with evolving business priorities.
• Create high‑fidelity prototypes, storyboards, and strategy decks to visualize ideas and communicate design rationale effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams including executives, product managers, and engineers to align on design goals.
• Define UX goals and manage multiple work streams ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
• Drive innovation and thought leadership through proactive experimentation and continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in UX design and product design.
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise applications and creating high‑fidelity prototypes, workflows, and design systems.
• Strong ability to present and communicate design rationale to stakeholders and executives, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
