A full‑time Technical Conference/Convention Producer to oversee the technical aspects of conferences and conventions, managing audiovisual, lighting, stagehands, and coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless event productions. Responsibilities Oversee technical aspects of conferences and conventions. Manage audiovisual, lighting, stagehands/labor and coordinate with vendors. Ensure seamless event productions from start to finish. Qualifications Strong communication skills with clients. Experience and proficiency in large event productions, audiovisual technology, and technical conference management. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Leadership skills and the ability to execute successful events and meetings, both small and large. Show‑calling skills at a minimal level. Familiarity with union labor. Attention to detail. Experience creating production schedules and run‑of‑shows. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and spreadsheet applications. Willingness to travel to conferences/conventions and site visits as needed.
