Laser Engraving & Design Lab Assistant
The University of Central Missouri (UCM) is seeking a Laser Engraving & Design Lab Assistant to support the CTE departmental production needs by operating laser engraving equipment, creating custom designs in LightBurn, producing posters, and preparing vinyl decals. Examples of Duties
Duties Include: Safely operating machinery Preparing and editing design files Assisting with poster printing and vinyl decal production Maintaining organized workspaces Ensuring all completed projects meet quality standards. Typical Qualifications
Education: Currently enrolled college student with strong attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn design and production software. Experience: Prior experience with laser engraving, LightBurn, design programs, or vinyl cutting is preferred but not required. Working Hours
Monday - Friday Weekly work hours are approximate, based on student's academic schedule and lab needs. Supplemental Information
Full-time staff & 12-month faculty benefits-eligible position:
