The full salary range for the position is $67,930.88

$101,896.33 with an anticipated starting salary between entry ($67,930.88) and midpoint ($84,913.61) of the range. It's essential to note that the actual salary offered will be determined based on several factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, education, certifications, training and internal equity considerations. The Graphic Designer creates engaging, accessible visual communications that support Valley Metro's departments, services, and events. This role translates ideas and information into effective print and digital designs that strengthen brand consistency, support marketing efforts, and enhance the customer experience through clear, inclusive, and visually compelling content. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Graphic design principles, practices, and methods (typography, color theory, etc.,)

Experience with the entire design process from concept to final deliverable

4 + years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

Accessible graphic design and current industry accessibility standards

Strong digital portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, print, and multimedia design examples

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field and four (4) years of experience in: Graphic design and visual communications Digital marketing content creation Brand management and compliance Licensing/Certification Requirements

Conceptualize, organize, design and produce visual communication material for Valley Metro departments, services and events. Coordinate, research and evaluate requests to determine central theme, audience and time constraints by converting written and spoken ideas into designs. Create collateral materials for print and digital marketing platforms. Collaborate with multiple teams across Valley Metro and customers; present various designs according to brand guidelines and facilitate communication and revisions throughout the proofing process. Maintain files, databases and final designs and monitor quality and accessibility. Develop content compatible with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible formats. Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned. Skill in

Work is performed in a typical office setting with routine use of standard office equipment. This role is sedentary requiring the physical exertion of up to 10 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently; sitting most of the time. This role typically requires sitting, handling, fine dexterity, visual acuity, hearing, speaking, walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, twisting, time pressure, tedious or exacting work, changing of tasks, multi-tasking, irregular work schedule/overtime and working with others on a team.
