Cloud Security Process Analyst
We are seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented Process Analyst with a passion for continuous improvement to support the Cloud Security Product and Technical team. This role focuses on documenting, analyzing, and improving cloud security processes that enable secure product development, deployment, and operations. You will work closely with engineers, architects, DevOps, and product managers to ensure that the operational processes are in alignment with the Enterprise standards for the technical and product development lifecycle. Flexibility and strong communication are essential, especially when working across time zones and with distributed teams. Responsibilities: Process Mapping & Documentation: Document operational workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to cloud security product management and engineering. Collaboration with Product & Engineering Teams: Partner with product managers, security engineers, DevOps, and cloud architects to capture current processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. Operational Enablement: Develop process playbooks and best practices that enable technical teams to implement secure and compliant workflows without compromising agility. Integration Support: Ensure security processes are effectively embedded into existing technical workflows such as code deployment, infrastructure as code, and cloud resource provisioning in alignment with Enterprise policies. Risk & Control Mapping: Align documented processes with organizational policies, compliance standards, and security frameworks. Ensure that processes are correctly reflected in the Single Process Inventory. Metrics & Performance Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for process effectiveness and work with stakeholders to implement improvements based on data-driven insights. Audit & Compliance Readiness: Prepare and maintain documentation required for audits and compliance assessments, ensuring traceability and accountability across cloud security processes. Required Skills: Bachelors degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in process analysis, technical documentation, or security operations in cloud environments. Business process design with ability to utilize logic & reason to navigate complex problem solving. Out of the box thinker who looks for alternative ways to solve problems and design solutions without being afraid of challenging the status quo. Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience in process gap identification and closure Strong facilitation skills and ability to influencing others/persuasion skills Experience leading process mapping Executive communication experience; written and oral; ability to create and deliver executive level presentations Proficiency in documentation and visualization tools using Visio, Figma or other process mapping tools Experience working in cross-functional environments with engineering, DevOps, and product teams. Advanced level Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Visio Robust experience with Jira and Confluence Formal training/certification in Lean, Six Sigma or other process methodologies Preferred Skills: Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Strong understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security architectures.
