The Role

Cash App is seeking a strategic, dynamic, and action-oriented Senior Integrated Marketing Lead to drive the next phase of growth for our Commerce business (Afterpay + Cash App Pay). This role will define and execute integrated marketing strategies that bring our commerce solutions to life connecting our brand, products, and retail partners in ways that deepen engagement, strengthen our value proposition, and accelerate adoption. The ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience working with commercial retailers and blends creativity with commercial acumen. They thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, have excellent communication and presentation skills, and possess a proven ability to turn insights into breakthrough campaigns that drive measurable business results. They will also oversee campaign budgeting and investment planning across channels, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to drive measurable brand and business outcomes. Success in this role will be defined by measurable growth in adoption and usage of Cash Apps commerce products and a strengthened brand presence across key retail moments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and oversee the integrated marketing vision for Afterpay in the U.S., ensuring alignment with Afterpays brand direction and Cash Apps commerce growth priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional go-to-market planning across Creative, Product, Data Science, and Communications to deliver cohesive, insight-driven campaigns.
  • Own end-to-end marketing investment planning and budget allocation for Commerce campaigns partnering with Channel, Brand Media, and Finance teams to ensure efficient and impactful spend across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing integrated marketing team focused on excellence in execution and measurable outcomes.

Campaign & Partner Marketing

  • Design and scale integrated campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, and adoption of Cash Apps commerce solutions (Pay Now and Pay Later).
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing, Creative, and B2B/B2C channel teams as well as brand partners to co-create activations that amplify both Cash App and partner value during key retail moments and product launches.
  • Manage campaign budgets and oversee channel allocations balancing upper-funnel brand efforts with performance-driven activations to optimize ROI.
  • Translate complex product capabilities into compelling, customer-centric narratives that inspire action and strengthen brand affinity.

Insights & Optimization

  • Partner with Customer Insights and Data Science to translate customer and market insights into actionable strategies.
  • Develop and implement marketing measurement frameworks to evaluate brand health, campaign performance, and ROI continuously optimizing for impact.
  • Champion brand consistency and elevate the look, feel, and experience of Afterpay across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Use insights to inform future investment strategies, ensuring budgets are aligned to performance learnings and business goals.
  • Partner with Creative and external agencies to build campaign platforms, assets and evergreen content.

You Have

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in integrated marketing, brand strategy, or product marketing ideally within technology, retail, or financial services sectors.
  • At least 5+ years of direct integrated marketing experience including budget ownership and cross-channel investment planning.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional marketing initiatives that deliver measurable growth.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and uncover and translate insights into strategic and creative direction.
  • Exceptional communicator and storyteller capable of influencing across all levels of the organization able to synthesize a complex situation into a concise plan.
  • Financially disciplined and data-driven leader with experience managing multi-million-dollar campaign budgets and optimizing spend for ROI.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial leader who is accountable, proactive, solution-oriented, thrives in dynamic environments and inspires teams to deliver excellence.
