Hustle Magazine is hiring: Video Editor Intern in New York

Note: This remote internship is an educational opportunity offering hands-on experience with a renowned magazine. While the position is unpaid, it provides valuable exposure and portfolio-building opportunities for aspiring media professionals.

Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form and long-form videos of celebrity interviews.

• Collaborate with the editorial, design, and social media teams to produce engaging and visually appealing content.

• Work with raw footage, B-roll, and graphics to create cohesive narratives.

• Add sound effects, music, motion graphics, and captions as required.

• Stay updated with digital video trends, editing styles, and social media formats (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, etc.).

• Maintain organized project files and ensure timely delivery of edits.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Familiarity with After Effects or Canva Video is a plus.

• Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling through visuals.

• Eye for detail, color grading, and sound design.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Enthusiasm for pop culture, youth media, entrepreneurship, or creative industries is a bonus.
