In this temporary role, you will design acquisition and partner experiences that attract, compel, and convert users into members. Your design decisions will directly impact growth metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversion.

What You’ll Drive

Shape the Future of Acquisition

Define the future of Achieve’s acquisition experiences by converting and qualifying consumers into the product portfolio.

Own the user journey by creating the first impression and nurturing users toward conversion through intuitive, trustworthy, and optimized experiences.

Drive innovation by shaping new product experiences and connecting the dots across customer needs, market shifts, and emerging technologies.

Engage and Convert Consumers

Design, test, and optimize experiences that compel users to interact, learn, and pursue membership.

Design, test, and optimize conversion paths that help users move from debt problem to debt solution.

Turn Insights Into Outcomes

Partner with Product and Data to identify opportunities, form hypotheses, and design measurable experiments that impact key business metrics.

Perform qualitative and market research to deepen understanding of consumer behavior and the competitive landscape.

Execute With Excellence

Bring ideas to life through end-to-end design: discovery, rapid prototyping, testing, high‑fidelity visuals, and production‑ready specifications.

Collaborate with an Agile team to ensure seamless execution and high consumer and business impact.

Advocate for Users and the Business

Ensure every design decision leverages consumer insights to deliver measurable consumer and business outcomes.

Contribute to and evolve the design system so it remains pragmatic, efficient, and effective in supporting high‑quality user experiences.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience designing and shipping impactful and creative consumer web products in agile, cross‑functional environments.

Proven ability to drive measurable business impact through experimentation, A/B testing, and data‑informed design.

Experience designing to optimize for traffic generation, engagement, and conversion‑oriented experiences.

Deep understanding of funnel metrics, behavioral analytics, and user psychology in digital growth contexts.

Strong UX design judgement to compel and engage consumers paired with a pragmatic sense of how to implement for efficient development and business/consumer impact.

High energy, strong work ethic, and a willingness to push the team to rapid test, learn, optimize cycles.

Cutting edge on design, AI, and prototyping tool technology (e.g., Figma) and democratizing small/rapid design changes to free yourself for high‑impact designs.

Working knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.

Nice to Have

Experience with experimentation frameworks or UX research.

Background in financial services, gaming, fitness, or lifestyle.

Familiarity with design system contribution and scalable component design.

Experience influencing cross‑functional strategy through design insights.

We are proudly offering hybrid options in Phoenix, AZ and San Francisco, CA metro markets, and 100% remote work in other approved locations.

Hourly Range:

$65/hr to $75/hr + benefits. This is the expected range for this role; location, experience, and other factors may influence the final offer.
