The company is looking for a Vice President, Product Design to be based onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, California.

As Vice President of Product Design, you will spearhead product design across the C3 AI Platform and C3 AI Applications, champion user experience (UX), and oversee the creation and execution of outstanding UX design for our AI products. You will lead the product design team, drive UX excellence through research and datadriven insights, evangelize design thinking with internal stakeholders, and position C3 AI externally as a productdesign leader for Enterprise AI.

Responsibilities

• Drive endtoend product design in support of C3 AIs strategic vision and streamline product and tooling development.
• Actively manage and coach a team of product designers to deliver highimpact projects and products.
• Guide UI component development, oversee technical integration from design tools like Figma, and ensure seamless collaboration with engineering.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement assets and provide robust documentation for employees, partners, and customers.
• Establish and maintain best practices for design systems and component libraries.
• Streamline the process of product and customer feedback to the core UI/UX engineering team and prioritize design language improvements.
• Own the evolution and ongoing improvement of our product design framework.
• Facilitate product design presentations, anticipate feedback, develop opinions, and gain alignment.
• Engage with C3 AI executives to update design framework and processes to meet emerging customer and internal needs.
• Evangelize design thinking throughout the organization and through external channels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working with complex systems in the bigdata, AI, or data analytics field.
• MS or Bachelors Degree in HumanComputer Interaction, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent areas.
• Strong usercentered design process and prior management of product design teams.
• Significant experience in analytics, AI/ML, and related data science.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to drive projects and processes independently and in teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and executive presence.
• Strong problemsolving skills and bias for action.
• Time management and prioritization across many projects.
• Selflearning mindset in AI and design principles.
• Fulltime inoffice work at C3 AI headquarters in Redwood City, CA required.

California Base Pay Range: $286,000$350,000 USD
