UI/UX – UX Researcher IV (Qualitative / Mixed Methods)

Job Description
We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher (Qualitative or Mixed Methods) to support the development of next-generation products that integrate digital and physical experiences. This role focuses on shaping early product ideas and refining innovative solutions across AI, wearable devices, and emerging hardware technologies.
Research plays a critical role in driving product direction. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with early-stage concepts, hardware prototypes, and ambiguous problem spaces, and can transform research findings into clear, actionable insights that influence product strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute qualitative and mixed-method UX research across the product lifecycle
Partner with cross-functional teams to refine research questions and inform study design
Conduct in-person and remote human-subjects research
Collect and analyze attitudinal and behavioral data
Perform descriptive analysis on small-scale quantitative data
Synthesize internal and external research into actionable insights
Author research reports, readouts, and executive-ready presentations
Communicate findings through compelling storytelling for diverse audiences
Contribute research insights to product strategy and execution
Required Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of experience in UX Research and/or UX Design
Master’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Human Factors, or related field
Strong experience with human-subjects qualitative research (design, analysis, reporting)
Proven confidence conducting hardware-based research
Experience with generative and evaluative research methodologies
Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Qualitative human-subjects research design, analysis, and reporting
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Confidence with hardware-based research, including early-stage prototypes
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Human Factors, or related field
Experience with AR/VR technologies
Experience leading research across all phases of the product development cycle
Strong storytelling skills to drive alignment and decision-making
