Our client is a fast-growing wireless startup building custom-branded mobile networks for colleges and universities across the U.S. Their mission is to help schools engage their communities while generating ongoing financial support through wireless subscriptions. Their digital platform is core to our growth, and we’re scaling rapidly.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Web Developer with hands‑on experience in Next.js and Sanity CMS to help support the build and scaling of our college websites. This is a great opportunity for an early‑career developer to work on real production sites, learn best practices, and grow in a fast‑paced startup environment.
You will work closely with our Product and Engineering team to implement designs, update content, fix bugs, and help deploy new college websites from our core template.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain websites using Next.js and Sanity CMS
Implement UI updates, page layouts, and content changes
Support the launch of new college-branded websites from our existing template
Fix bugs, broken links, and formatting issues
Ensure sites are responsive and performant
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior engineers
Follow basic code quality and documentation standards
Required Qualifications
1–3 years of web development experience (or equivalent project work)
Hands‑on experience with Next.js and React
Experience working with a CMS, preferably Sanity
Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control
Basic understanding of responsive design and web performance
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
Experience with Tailwind CSS
Familiarity with Vercel deployments
Basic SEO knowledge
Experience working with reusable component libraries
