As a Senior Project Manager, you will join our dynamic transportation design team in North Carolina, overseeing the development, management, and commercial performance of projects to ensure they meet ambitious goals and objectives. Candidates can be located in either Raleigh, North Carolina or Columbia, South Carolina. What you'll be doing includes communicating effectively, scheduling and coordinating project interactions, managing interdisciplinary teams, integrating competing elements, working with government projects, mobilizing company resources, discussing qualifications, collaborating with facilities staff, acting as the company representative, negotiating changes, marketing and securing additional work, following up on instructions, participating in negotiations, overseeing project plans, establishing program requirements, developing project descriptions, working with managers, ensuring project goals, devising action plans, promoting technical and commercial excellence, monitoring project progress, and establishing weekly meetings. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering, 15+ years of related engineering management experience, a broad technical and business background, a professional engineer license, NCDOT/SCDOT project delivery experience, ability to manage projects, interface with clients, and hands-on technical involvement, comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, project management certification requirements, and proven ability to perform in a management capacity with excellent written and oral communications.
