Presentation Designer
Our client, a law firm, is looking for a Presentation Designer to join their team for up to 6 months with potential to extend. This role requires being onsite in Chicago five days a week and the shift will be from 11-7 (with 1 hour for lunch). The ideal candidate will develop and implement design concepts and templates for a variety of projects. These projects include presentations from the clients content library, client presentations, RFP responses, placemats, pitch books, pitch one-pagers, and other marketing materials. Responsibilities: Craft and Refresh Presentations: Develop and update dynamic presentations from within the clients content library. Design Impactful Visuals: Create compelling visual presentations for internal and external clients focusing on new business pitches- including graphics like charts, graphs, maps, tables, and text to tell a story. Collaborate and Coordinate: Work closely with business development team to produce graphic presentation materials. Manage production, including cost and time estimates for projects. Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the firms brand guidelines and review for consistency. Edit and Refine: Perform original keying, incorporate editors changes, and consult with the business development team, lawyers, or supervisors to meet project needs. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks and correct any spelling, format, or style errors. Create and Modify Graphics: Render and modify computer-generated graphics and images according to specifications. Innovate and Source Tools: Identify and source new tools and products to enhance the presentation of the firms services. Produce Final Documents: Including but not limited to, file preparation, styles, templates, tables, and table of contents. Must Haves: Associates degree or higher in a related field 3+ years of experience manipulating/integrating graphics from spreadsheet or presentation applications for projects ranging from small proposals to large complex efforts with extensive graphics. Extensive knowledge of graphic design and typography for both print and digital media Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work within design templates and translate design concepts into finished work product.
