Associate Attorney - Creditors' Remedies

This position is for an Associate Attorney within the Creditors' Remedies practice at Adams & Martin Group, based in Minneapolis, MN. Compensation ranges from $130,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year.
Responsibilities
Reviews and analyzes newly assigned and existing matters to provide legal representation until the matter is concluded.
Drafts all necessary documents and routes them through appropriate office procedures to produce final documents.
Performs legal research using all available resources including libraries and computer data systems.
Formulates and issues well‑founded legal opinions to clients.
Effectively conducts negotiations, when appropriate, to resolve matters on behalf of clients.
Advise and communicate regularly with clients regarding the status of their matter.
Maintains membership in state bar and completes all required Continuing Legal Education requirements annually.
Follows the ethical requirements set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct of the state and complies with all requirements of the firm's professional liability insurer.

Work requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
Qualifications Required
JD from an accredited law school.
Minnesota bar license.
Three or more years of experience, with a preference for experience representing banks, financial institutions, loan servicers, private secured lenders, and other secured lenders within one or more of the financial litigation, secured creditor, creditors’ remedies, bankruptcy, and workout practice areas.
Highly motivated and self‑starter.
Strong analytical abilities.
Excellent computer and communication skills.
Experience with MS Office and Excel.
Excellent grammar, proofreading skills, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high levels of accuracy in all written communications and document preparation.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring completion of assignments despite frequent interruptions and changes in schedule.
