We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Lead to drive product strategy and marketing for Social and AI products on Facebook. This role sits in‑between technical product understanding and go‑to‑market strategy, helping to bring innovative AI experiences to billions of people all over the world.
You will lead a team and set strategy, positioning, and go‑to‑market frameworks that drive adoption, quality, and trust across foundational products and services. In this role you will be responsible for developing insight‑driven Go‑to‑Market plans that articulate the Social AI pillar’s value proposition within the broader Facebook narrative, advancing strategic storylines, elevating brand sentiment, accelerating product adoption, and steering product roadmaps toward the highest‑leverage opportunities.
Partner closely with product, engineering, research, and marketing teams to show how AI helps people connect and do more on Facebook. Influence and drive alignment across matrixed stakeholders, be a highly effective operator, and inspire and support a growing team with care, thoughtfulness, and mentorship.
Product Marketing Lead, Social & AI, Facebook Responsibilities
Manage an industry‑leading product marketing team focused on Social & AI products
Lead large‑scale go‑to‑market initiatives partnering with cross‑functional teams (e.g. Product Management, Brand Marketing, Product Growth, Insights, Creative, Data Science, etc.)
Influence and shape product strategies, positioning, and narratives through the use of data and insights for target audiences in close collaboration with research, product, marketing, and policy teams
Serve as the single‑threaded owner for Social/AI products on Facebook to inform, develop, and execute complex, sometimes cross‑organization go‑to‑markets, including strategy development, goals and measurement, creative development, and integrated launch plans
Develop accurate positioning and messaging that translates technical specs into clear value propositions for consumers
Partner with brand, marketing teams, and channel owners on outbound marketing strategies and campaigns to shift press and user perceptions around social AI features
Have a pulse on the consumer AI landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation – both at the product and marketing level
Drive alignment across product and marketing cross‑functional teams to unify our strategy and goals for Social AI, ensuring seamless integration with the broader Facebook ecosystem
Provide thought leadership and recommendations working across the Social AI portfolio, shepherding product strategy and development
Navigate a variety of internal and external stakeholders to influence, align, and drive execution
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years of experience in marketing, strategy, operations, partnerships, or a similar field
5+ years of experience with team leadership and people management, including experience managing people managers or experienced individual contributors
Experience working on AI products, ideally for a consumer audience
Experience with complex, cross‑organization consumer‑facing product launches and/or consumer campaigns
Demonstrated understanding and active use of consumer AI products and technologies
Communication and presentation skills that can be adapted for audiences at all knowledge and levels across the organization
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Creative discipline
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing and coaching strategic marketing teams with demonstrated success in identifying issues, improving systems, and creating impact
Experience influencing at a variety of levels in an organization, including with cross‑functional leaders
Experience driving resolution in the context of competing perspectives
Experience leading cross‑functional teams to develop and execute integrated, full funnel consumer marketing plans that have effectively scaled across global markets and/or across audiences
Internet, technology, or artificial intelligence industry experience
