Prime Video seeks a Content Strategy Manager to enhance the original movie pipeline for Amazon’s global OTT platform. The role focuses on greenlight facilitation, financial and strategic assessments of movie deals, data-driven viewership insights, and strategic documentation that informs senior leadership on slate planning, content investments, and emerging business models.
Evaluate Original Movies being considered for greenlight.
Assess the financial and strategic considerations of various movie deal structures and release models.
Analyze Prime Video viewership data to surface insights and inform senior leadership decisions.
Author strategy documents providing recommendations on slate planning, content investments, new business models, and 'think big' opportunities.
Serve as a knowledge center for streaming movie performance, forecasting methodologies, and performance reporting.
Basic Qualifications
Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects.
Experience communicating complex business concepts in verbal and written form.
4+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a similar role within the media and entertainment industry.
Analytical skills, including experience using complex modeling to inform key business decisions.
Proficiency in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, or Master’s degree.
Experience working in movie or television content strategy, or in a similar fast-paced, high-impact role in the media and entertainment industry.
Compensation & Benefits The base pay for this position ranges from $69,400 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $148,400 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
