About KidCo

KidCo is building a new kind of device for kids, one that turns screen time into creation time.

We believe kids deserve technology that supports imagination, learning, and curiosity, not passive consumption, addictive feeds, or algorithm-driven content. Our product combines a physical device with thoughtful software and parent controls, giving families a healthier alternative to the defaults set by big tech.

We’re a small, fast-moving team working across consumer hardware, software, AI, and ecommerce, building products we’re proud to put in our own homes.

What You’ll Do

  • Run paid acquisition campaigns (75% of the work)
  • Help launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns primarily on Meta (Facebook & Instagram), with some experiments in TikTok Ads and Google Ads (Search and YouTube).
  • Test creatives, audiences, and messaging

Support creative testing by launching new ad concepts, hooks, and experiment with AI tools. Comfortable with copywriting from existing assets, research, or AI. Learn how to evaluate performance quickly, pause underperforming ads, and scale winners.

Funnel, customer journey, and CRO work

Assist with landing page tests, checkout improvements, and conversion rate optimization inside Shopify. Help identify drop-offs and opportunities across the purchase flow.

Help with email & lifecycle marketing

Support iteration of email marketing flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase onboarding). Anywhere in your application or resume, mention an example brand or marketing campaign that inspires you as a growth marketer. We’ll use tools such as Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Triple Whale, Cursor, Lovable.

Analyze results and report insights

Track and interpret core performance metrics such as CTR, CAC, CVR, ROAS, and funnel conversion rates. Turn data into clear learnings and next steps.

Who You Are

You’re likely a strong fit if you:

  • Have some hands-on exposure to Meta Ads Manager (through an internship, class, side project, or early role)
  • Are interested in learning additional paid channels like TikTok Ads or Google Ads
  • Enjoy experimenting, analyzing results, and problem-solving
  • Are comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and dashboards, or curiosity in vibe coding or prompt engineering (as a technical marketer)
  • Care about building ethical, thoughtful consumer products
  • Want to grow quickly in a startup environment with real ownership of initiatives

Location

This role is in-office in Los Altos, CA. We believe being together matters when building something new. Hybrid or remote may be possible for exceptional candidates.
