Position Summary Manager Veterinary Communications – Nestlé Purina North America. This role is based in one of the following locations: Seattle, North California, Salt Lake City, or Oregon.

The Veterinary Communications Manager (VCM) will support veterinary sales and university outreach in a defined region, driving increased trial, usage, and recommendation of Purina products by veterinarians, veterinary students, and staff. The position also elevates Purina’s image and promotes technical and scientific competency among veterinary sales personnel.

Responsibilities

Educate new and existing Purina associates on nutrition and related veterinary medicine topics.

Provide technical nutrition information and serve as a technical consultant to Purina veterinary sales personnel.

Develop and manage relationships at veterinary schools through our Purina Veterinary University Program, providing educational events to students, staff, and faculty.

Represent Purina’s culture and innovation across veterinary professional audiences.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a small animal private practice or an internship is required.

Other Information

Preferred: 3+ years of experience in private practice or a similar industry.

The role requires 60‑75% travel as business needs dictate.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation The approximate pay range for this position is $122,000 to $165,000. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
