The Opportunity We are looking for a Media Director – North America to serve as our "boots on the ground" in NYC. This is not just a management role; it is a rare opportunity to spearhead the US launch of a globally established agency, acting as the face of the business and shaping its future culture and success in the American market. The Mission Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, you will challenge the status quo and embed innovation across our US operations. Your core responsibilities will include: Client Leadership: Act as the primary lead for our US client base (Toys, Entertainment, Gaming), deepening relationships and delivering high-quality, strategic media plans. Growth: Partner with global leadership to drive US new business. You will use your existing network and market knowledge to open doors, lead pitches, and build a robust pipeline. Market Presence: Be the industry face of the agency in NYC at trade shows and networking events. Bridge Building: Connect seamlessly with our internal media teams to ensure global coordination and operational excellence. What You Bring We are looking for a strategic thinker with a hands-on, start-up mindset. You must be comfortable working in a launch-phase environment where adaptability is key. Experience: 10+ years in media agencies with significant client leadership responsibility. Sector Expertise: A proven track record within the Toy and Entertainment sectors is essential. Technical Skill: Deep understanding of the US media landscape (planning and buying) across all channels. Commercial Drive: Demonstrable experience leading new business initiatives and a strong ability to "close."
