Geospatial UI/UX Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance Required) ***This job requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Please apply only if you have an active TS/SCI clearance*** North Point Technology is seeking an experienced TS/SCI Cleared UI/UX Project Engineer to join our Agile Software Development Team. The program’s mission is to provide visualization services that facilitate access to GEOINT data and products in an online, on-demand environment to agencies across the Federal Government. Responsibilities: Develop system architectures for complex geospatial UI/UX solutions. Coordinate and oversee project tasks distributed across multiple teams. Apply user-centered design principles and human–computer interaction best practices. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, development, or a related field. Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, or InVision. Understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction. Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (Section 508, WCAG). Preferred Skills: Background in GEOINT and experience with 2D/3D geospatial user interfaces. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in agile development environments. Knowledge of machine learning and AI-powered design tools. Experience with design systems and style guides (e.g., Material Design, Bootstrap). Certification in UX/UI design or accessibility (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group, Adobe, WCAG 2.1).
