Manufacturing Expeditor - Responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies within the production process, coordinating with departments to meet production schedules and enhance operational efficiency. Expeditors ensure the smooth flow of operations, particularly by managing the supply chain. They ensure that all parts, materials, and equipment are available when needed for production or projects. The typical duties and responsibilities of an Expeditor are: Check production schedules and deadlines and adjust them as needed Monitor and manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects Resolve issues related to delayed shipments or unexpected changes in the supply chain Track orders and ensure they are fulfilled in a timely manner Communicate with project managers and provide updates on the status of materials and equipment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Manufacturing experience Attention to detail Ability to stand for long periods of time Math and analytical skills Proficiency in spreadsheet software, inventory management tools and accounting applications Excellent time management skills Hours for this Manufacturing Expeditor position are 7am -3:30pm M-F.
