Laboratory Assistant Position

Provides efficient, accurate, and courteous service for PAMC patients or residents of Nursing Home Clients. Provides accurate and timely collection and receiving of specimens for all patients in accordance with medical center and laboratory policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations. Performs bedside tests (bleeding times) as requested. Accurately enters data into hospital and laboratory computer systems related to patient billing and charting. Performs processing functions to assure integrity of specimens for testing. Providence caregivers are not simply valued

We are hiring for Laboratory Assistant position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! Position is Per-Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours Per Week as needed Apply today! Diploma or GED. 2 years Phlebotomy experience or one year phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting. Less than one year experience will be considered for PAMC Lab employees of six months or greater with approval from Director. Preferred Qualification: Experience in specimen processing.
