About Us: Hype and Vice is a fast-growing, women-founded brand that merges fashion and team spirit. We create licensed college and sports apparel with a trend-forward, community-driven approach.
You’ll work closely with the design and production teams to:
Lead and execute fashion design and product development from concept through production, ensuring all styles align with the Hype and Vice brand, fit standards, and quality expectations.
Create, maintain, and approve detailed tech packs, including specifications, measurements, materials, and construction details.
Lead the sampling process with domestic and international manufacturers, managing revisions, approvals, timelines, and final sign-off.
Drive trend research and product ideation across sportswear, streetwear, and women’s fashion to inform new styles, silhouettes, and seasonal direction.
Define and standardize new designs before cross-team handoff to ensure consistency and brand cohesion.
Manage and mentor a small team of graphic designers, reviewing artwork, logo placement, and production-ready files prior to handoff.
Set and oversee logo and graphic placement standards across all garments.
Maintain product development tracking in Excel, including timelines, sample status, approvals, and production schedules.
A trend-obsessed creative with an eye for what's next in fashion, particularly in sportswear and streetwear.
Super organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Excel (experience with PLM software is a plus).
2–3 years of experience in fashion design, product development, or a similar role.
~ Strong knowledge of textiles, garment dyeing, and embellishment techniques.
~ Experience working with both domestic and international manufacturers.
~ Ability to analyze data in Excel, including tracking samples, production status, and costing.

Hybrid work model – in office 3 days a week.
