What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to address concerns as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any irregularities.
  • Monitor access points, entrances, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and protect valuable assets within a technology-focused environment.
  • Document and report all observed incidents, suspicious activities, and maintenance issues according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to support a secure environment.
  • Remain alert to changing conditions and potential threats in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
