Role: Creative Director
About the role
In a highly competitive marketplace, creating visually stunning, impactful and effective creative work is essential. To help us deliver this we are looking for a strong, inspirational Creative Lead to join us on our journey with our client in the B2B tech industry. The Creative Lead will oversee and direct conceptual and design projects and will ultimately be responsible for the quality of ideas and the endtoend design execution of jobs, from brief through to implementation and delivery. We are looking for a multiskilled creative that will direct, inspire, lead and support all levels of design and creative talent across the account.
What you will be doing
- Creatively direct concept designers / graphic designers / art workers, harnessing their development and performance, in a manner that assures maximum efficiency and creativity.
- Manage, supervise, review and audit the work of designers and art workers to ensure the creative level expected by the client is being met.
- Work with and support the OLIVER Business Director to deliver excellent client service.
- Act as brand guardian to ensure all design collateral produced is faithful to the clients brand guidelines.
- Effectively organize and prioritize workload, especially around deadlines, and have the flexibility to respond to increases in workload / tight deadlines.
What you need to be great in this role
- Motivate and influence the creative team to constantly strive for excellence in performance.
- Proactively monitor the quality of design projects being produced by leading internal review sessions and seeking feedback from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage the timely delivery of all jobs, always taking into consideration the clients requirements and expectations.
- Manage, oversee and coordinate the sharing of knowledge and the facilitation of learning within the team to improve business practices and promote the development of creative ideas and introduce new services.
- Work actively with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the highest level of client service from all team members.
- Train and mentor staff and oversee their professional development through the setting of SMART objectives and PDPs, offering knowledge, motivation, support and experience as required.
- With the assistance of Account Lead, ensure all staff members accurately record timesheets.
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $136,000.00 to $152,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on jobrelated factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVERs total compensation package.
