Our multidisciplinary design teams are creating new ways to help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Workplace, Meta Quest and more. Responsibilities
Build and manage a team of product designers, artists, and leaders across a balanced mix of skill sets. Drive collaboration and vision across the company to achieve alignment on priorities and product design execution. Shape the product roadmap, both short‑term and long‑term. Partner closely with product managers, engineers, content designers, user experience researchers, and other disciplines to deliver high‑quality experiences worldwide. Oversee multiple projects, scaling design resources to meet deadlines and ensuring the team is set up for success with clear, measurable goals. Develop design talent and build a thriving environment for career growth. Minimum Qualifications
Experience creating design systems. 6+ years of leadership experience with direct reports, including hiring and developing managers and individual contributors. 10+ years of experience in Product Design. 10+ years working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content, and user research teams. People management, team development, recruiting, and organization building experience. Experience growing a strategic design practice within design teams. Visual and interaction experience in software design. Organizational and analytical experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing a design system team and a team of creatives (Visual Designers, Art Directors, Creative Directors). EEO Statement
