Located in the heart of a thriving neighborhood at the base of the foothills, the Collister branch is a vital community hub where neighbors gather, families grow, and connections flourish. In this dynamic role, you'll combine professional expertise with grassroots community engagement, building partnerships with local schools, neighborhood associations, and community organizations to ensure the library remains deeply connected to diverse resident needs. Your outreach efforts will extend beyond our doors, taking library services directly into the community. As a Senior Librarian, you'll exercise professional judgment in developing innovative programs, providing expert reference and reader's advisory services, and mentoring staff to deliver exceptional customer experiencesserving as a trusted resource, skilled problem-solver, and community advocate in a close-knit neighborhood known for its strong sense of community. This senior-level position requires a Master's degree in Library and Information Science and four years of public library experience developing and implementing programs and providing reference services.
