Base pay range $90.00/hr - $130.00/hr
About the role The Director of User Experience is responsible for leading and elevating the day-to-day technology experience for all employees. This role ensures a seamless, secure, and highly positive experience across laptops, applications, and end-user technology. Reporting to senior technology leadership, this position blends people management, technical ownership, and executive partnership to deliver best-in-class service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end user experience related to laptops, end-user technology, and IT support services.
Ensure high levels of user satisfaction through proactive service delivery, clear communication, and continuous improvement.
Act as an escalation point for complex or high-impact user experience issues, including executive-level support.
Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing management of standard laptop images, application packaging, configuration, and device management settings.
Oversee baseline endpoint security controls including encryption, patching, and endpoint protection.
Partner with infrastructure and security teams to align end-user technology with organizational standards and risk requirements.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of user support professionals, fostering a high-performance, service-oriented culture.
Establish documentation, standards, and best practices for end-user technology and support operations.
Monitor support trends and user feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and operational efficiency.
Qualifications Required:
10+ years of experience in IT, end-user computing, or user support, including experience in a senior or leadership role.
Strong expertise in laptop imaging and deployment, endpoint management, Group Policy or MDM, and application configuration.
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop technical support teams.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage executive leadership.
Strong judgment, discretion, and a service-oriented mindset.
Preferred (Optional):
Experience in professional services, financial services, or similarly demanding environments.
Familiarity with modern endpoint management tools and IT service management frameworks.
Background in user experience, service design, or operational excellence initiatives.

Additional Details The base salary range for this position is $90 - $130 per hour, depending on experience. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
