Certain spaces resonate immediately. You instinctively want to understand what makes them work. If you’re a designer who grasps both fine details and overarching systems, who operates best in physical environments rather than concept boards, and who is convinced that compelling, functional spaces can scale effectively, this role channels your expertise into tangible outcomes. We are constructing a nationwide system of 2 Hour Learning campuses. These locations enable students to complete a full day’s academics in two focused hours, leaving the remainder of their day for pursuing interests, developing practical skills, and engaging in physical activity. Your responsibility is to design environments that leave a lasting impression. As the execution lead for interior spaces across our network, you will establish modular frameworks for layout, furniture and fixtures, play areas, and signage. You’ll guarantee they are implemented accurately at each location. You’ll visit campuses in person, identify issues that escape others’ notice, plan enhancements, and manage them from budgeting through installation. This role differs from conventional design positions because it remains connected to implementation. You won’t deliver plans and step back. You’ll be present, resolving installation challenges, guiding contractors, and gathering insights that refine subsequent deployments. If you’re prepared to scale your design expertise to national reach, this is the opportunity.

What You Will Be Doing

Build modular, scalable design frameworks for spatial layout, furniture and fixtures, finishes, and play areas that adapt across varied campus environments

Execute on‑site evaluations using standardized assessment tools to measure adherence to brand guidelines and identify priority improvements

Prepare detailed, visually documented, budget‑aligned proposals for facility enhancements that support pedagogy, brand identity, and family engagement

Supervise contractor execution on‑site, maintaining adherence to design specifications, financial parameters, and project schedules through direct quality assurance

Capture post‑installation outcomes by recording successes and shortcomings, then revising operational guides to reflect lessons learned

What You Won’t Be Doing

Creating custom, high‑touch environments that cannot be reproduced or scaled effectively

Delivering documentation and disengaging. You retain ownership from assessment through installation

Pausing for complete clarity. This role values proactive decision‑making, rapid refinement, and sound judgment under uncertainty

Generating unrestricted creative work. All design is tightly integrated with brand identity and operational requirements

Operating remotely. Expect to be in the field 50‑75% of your time
