End-to-End Product Designer Opportunity
Seeking an end-to-end product designer for complex internal tools! Long-term contract role | Hybrid to Glendale, CA | $65-70/hr We are looking for a strong, end-to-end UX designer who has experience working on internal business applications or enterprise tools. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenge and to be a part of a huge consolidation initiative. This group is very focused on building internal applications/tools with the same level of quality for consumer-facing applications. Therefore, internal enterprise tools design experience is a must for this role. You will be embedded in several agile development teams running in parallel, working closely with other designers, product managers, software engineers, stakeholders and users of the application. You may have the opportunity to provide design guidance to other design resources who are assigned to one or more agile development teams running in parallel. In this role you will: Define app and web experiences for enterprise products Innovate new enterprise experiences Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders Work closely with teammates to produce design solutions using sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups Be responsible for presenting design work to partners and stakeholders Your design work sets an example for other designers to follow You will be a point of contact to coordinate requirements with stakeholders Top skills: 4+ years of experience working as a UX/UI designer, interaction designer, or product designer in the design of heavily transactional web & desktop Beautiful data visualization & dashboarding Portfolio of your amazing work at all stages; sketches, wireframes, prototypes, visual design, usability testing results, personas, task flows, etc. Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and usability principles. Experience with Figma or Sketch. Collaborative, team-first mentality, eagerness to foster design culture. Additional skills & qualifications: Must have experience working as a UX/UI designer, interaction designer (or closely related field) in the design of heavily transactional web, desktop, and/or mobile applications. Solid understanding of user-centered design methods and usability principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent facilitation skills and ability to effectively lead whiteboard design sessions. Effective negotiator, enthusiastic team player, and able to resolve conflicts. Attentive to details while successfully juggling multiple assignments and competing priorities. Proficiency with Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools. Axure is a plus. Solid understanding of the technical implications of your designs. Knowledge of HTML, CSS is a plus. Knowledge of user research methods, including lab-based usability studies, field studies, and usability inspections (heuristic evaluations or cognitive walkthroughs). A hearty thirst and enthusiasm for UX knowledge, trends, sharing and banter. Must be based in Los Angeles Metro area. W-2 only. Portfolio with detailed case studies are a must for consideration! Job type & location: This is a contract position based out of Glendale, CA. Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $72.97 - $72.97/hr.
