Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Concept Artist to fill an open position with a Fortune 15 company based in the greater Seattle area. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a flagship AAA sci-fi FPS title, shaping the visual foundation that guides 3D teams and outsourcing partners. As a key member of the concept art group, you will help define the artistic direction, create high-impact visual assets, and influence the creative vision of an industry-leading game. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced artist who thrives in fast-paced development cycles and wants to leave a meaningful mark on a major upcoming release.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality concept art, visual guides, and orthographic drawings to support environment, character, vehicle, weapon, and prop development.
  • Collaborate closely with art directors, lead artists, and cross-disciplinary teams to define visual direction and ensure stylistic consistency.
  • Interpret briefs accurately, iterate quickly, and deliver polished assets under tight timelines.
  • Participate in art reviews, playtests, and team meetings to stay aligned with project goals and provide visual clarity for downstream teams.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional concept art experience with strong fundamentals in composition, lighting, and design.
  • 3–5 years of experience using development tools such as Unreal Engine, Blender, and Photoshop.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills demonstrated through 5+ years in similar art or game development environments.
  • Shipped at least one AAA game title.
  • Exceptional traditional art skills and mastery of digital painting tools.
  • Strong understanding of human/animal anatomy and industrial/architectural design.
  • Ability to work onsite, interpret briefs accurately, and execute quickly with consistent quality.
