We are partnering with Dayton Group, Inc (DGI) to fill a full‑time Space Planner/Designer II position. We offer competitive salary ($112,000-$125,000/year depending on experience) along with a comprehensive benefits package:

Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Conduct surveys, analyze functions, determine office requirements for space and equipment
Create accurate design plans using CAD and provide recommendations for design plans
Prepare reports and presentations on high‑level projects for senior management review
Analyze data and develop methods to improve accuracy, adequacy, timelines, and validity of information
Assist program managers with strategies to meet space planning goals
Participate in engineering surveys and develop design plans and specifications
Apply physical sciences, pertinent calculations, and sound judgment in compliance with directives, codes, and precedents for new construction or modifications
Provide detailed drawings using AutoCAD, including layouts, plans, and equipment installations
Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, labor, and maintain a database for cost trends
Plan and manage renovation projects, including drawings, layouts, and space programs
Qualifications and experience required:
Minimum five years of relevant experience
Mastery of AutoCAD (certification or equivalent technical trade school certification, or relevant Associate's degree)
Experience with Archibus and Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) applications
Ability to draw from existing floor plans, design drawings, and schematics for construction and renovation projects
Knowledge of GSA construction standards to interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics
Experience creating design layouts and reports for executive leadership using AutoCAD and preparing drawings of utility systems, roadways, parking lots, landscaping, and structural requirements
Experience developing activation spreadsheets for procurement obligations, budgets, and resource requirements
Experience analyzing equipment requirements and integrating functions with existing systems
BA/BS degree in architectural engineering may satisfy the basic Level I requirements
U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance
Job type: Full‑time
