Job Summary The client views you as the Social Media expert on your integrated teams as well as the organizational glue when it comes to social media content creation and execution. You keep the team on top of deadlines, prepare materials for client meetings in advance, handle monthly reports, influencer lists, social media ads and monitoring. You are the go‑to person for your teams regarding all Social Media inquiries and campaign execution.

Job Responsibilities

Develop social media content calendars for all channels – organic and paid (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

Set up and monitor social media ads (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook) – prior experience required

Create and execute strong ad recommendations with supporting validation

Oversee and analyze campaigns, and change recommendations to maximize performance

Work with clients to communicate campaign progress, updates, and optimizations

Manage maintenance and changes to paid plans

Research, report, and analyze campaign data

Carefully read the news each day to identify new social trends for clients

Ability to identify relevant social trends that clients can thoughtfully and quickly trendjack on an ongoing basis

Lead listening activities for monitoring social conversations – 3 times per day

Prepare weekly trackers and quarterly performance dashboards

Track deadlines and approach the team for input at appropriate times

Prepare influencer lists and conduct outreach

Work closely with team leads to do the following:

Quarterly/bi‑annual integrated PR/Social Media campaigns

Work with content and media teams internally (and externally) to amplify earned and owned content on client’s social media channels

Draft live social coverage for client events

Proof all social documents before they go out

Prep social content for press releases/blog content

Track events and announcements for client’s social media editorial calendar

Job Requirements

B.S./B.A. in marketing, communications, or related field

2–3 years of progressive experience in social media, bonus for some agency experience

Experience in technology, consumer, healthcare and/or professional services

Experience setting up and monitoring social ads across LinkedIn and Facebook

Experience creating content calendars

Experience creating content for social platforms

Excellent writing skills

Strong social media skills

Ability to organize and manage multiple client responsibilities

Salary Range $65,000–$80,000 (depending on experience and geographic location)

Location This role is based in our Boston, New York, San Francisco, San Diego or Seattle office on a hybrid basis, in‑office 2–3 days per week.
