- Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials, helping to maintain authorized entry to the premises.
- Follow site-specific security-related procedures and policies, responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any security-related incidents that occur at the front desk.
- Assist in emergency response activities as directed, supporting Allied Universal and client protocols for various situations.
- Communicate and collaborate with on-site staff and Allied Universal management to report security-related concerns and/or incidents.
- Support a secure work environment by being attentive to unusual activity or potential risks within the lobby and entry areas.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience in customer service is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
