Unicorn Island Productions is seeking a dynamic, multi-hyphenate Videographer and

Digital Content Editor who can shoot, edit, and creatively ideate across a wide range of

video and photo content. This is not a “wait for instructions” role — this is a creative

collaborator who brings fresh energy, new ideas, and a strong comedic sensibility to

every project.

You’ll work directly with lead talent and within a high-performing production environment

that spans social content, YouTube, long-form storytelling, celebrity-driven shoots,

branded entertainment, and more. If you love building worlds, crafting stories, and

elevating a public figure’s brand through original creative — this is your role.

This is not an entry-level position. This role will report directly to talent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation – Shooting & Editing

• Film everything from scripted content to candid moments, run-and-gun style content, event coverage, vlogs, etc.
• Edit high-quality video and photo content optimized for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reels/Shorts) and longer-form projects (vlogs, behind-the-scenes, interviews, sizzles, etc).
• Film content in support of brand partnerships and edit assets in accordance to deliverables, guidelines and notes.
• Execute project specific social assets for films, television projects, social series, etc.
• Bring strong technical proficiency and a strong visual eye — from sound to lighting to framing to color to pacing to graphics.
• Build rough cuts, present multiple edit options, and bring proactive creativeproblem-solving.

Creative Development

• Pitch new ideas, formats, concepts, and recurring segments for social and digital platforms.
• Help give social presence a fresh, modern rebrand with new editing styles and creative approaches.
• Understand trends, comedy rhythms, meme culture, and storytelling that resonates across platforms.

Professionalism & Collaboration

• Work comfortably in environments with high-profile talent and celebrity clientele, maintaining professionalism and discretion.
• Collaborate closely with Unicorn Island Production’s team while also taking initiative and working independently without constant direction.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and willingness to travel for productions (valid passport required).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years experience in video editing and shooting for digital content, ideally in social media and/or comedic environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing both long-form and short-form video editing, as well as any photo work.
• Experience filming with professional equipment (a bonus if candidate has their own equipment)
• Strong comedic instincts and the ability to craft funny, engaging edits.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (and familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools).
• Confident self-starter who can bring creative solutions and new ideas to the table.
• Ability to handle fast-paced production schedules and shifting priorities with ease.
• Experience working in professional environments with public figures or celebrities is a must.
