Podcast Sponsorship & Events Salesperson

Location: Los Angeles (On-site)

Type: Full-Time 

Compensation: Base Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 annually

Commission: 10% of all sales (uncapped)

Expected First-Year OTE: $85,000 – $120,000+

We’re Service Drive Revolution, a leading automotive podcast focused on the service side of the industry — fixed ops, service advisors, technicians, leadership, culture, and dealership profitability. Our audience is highly engaged, industry-specific, and made up of the people who actually make dealerships run.

Alongside our fast-growing media platform, we also operate a beautiful event space in Los Angeles used for masterminds, workshops, trainings, and small conferences.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships and crafting partnerships, with sponsorship sales as the primary focus and event-space sales as a meaningful secondary revenue stream.

What You’ll Be Doing (Primary: Sponsorship Sales)

This is the core of the job. You’ll be connecting brands — especially those in or adjacent to automotive, service, training, tools, software, and B2B solutions — with our audience.

  • Find sponsors by reaching out and answering incoming interest.

  • Talk to brands to learn what they want from sponsoring us.

  • Build easy-to-understand sponsorship packages that fit their goals.

  • Pitch the packages, negotiate, and close the deal.

  • Present, negotiate, and close deals you feel confident delivering on.

  • Make sure our messaging and call-to-actions are clear before recording.

  • After the campaign, share simple reports with results and real audience reactions.

  • Maintain relationships with sponsors so they renew and want to work with us long-term.

What You’ll Also Handle (Secondary: Event Venue Sales)

Our LA event space is a big bonus revenue stream — and you’ll help fill it with the right kinds of clients.

  • Reach out to coaches, leadership groups, corporate teams, masterminds, and event planners.

  • Host tours (virtual or in-person) and help people picture their event in the space.

  • Understand event goals and suggest setups that make things run smoothly.

  • Finalize bookings and manage logistics through event rental.

  • Build relationships that turn one-time events into repeat bookings.

Who You Are

You don’t have to be an automotive expert — but if you are, that’s a huge plus. More importantly, you understand how to sell in a B2B environment and enjoy connecting people with opportunities that genuinely help their business grow.

  • 4–7+ years of sales experience in sponsorship, partnerships, media, events, or B2B solutions.

  • Strong outbound skills — comfortable reaching out and opening new doors.

  • Clear and confident communicator on calls, Zoom, email, and in person.

  • Consultative, curious, and good at uncovering what people actually need.

  • Comfortable navigating budget ranges and structuring deals.

  • Highly organized — able to manage two pipelines without losing your mind.

  • Motivated, resourceful, and proactive (you don’t wait for permission).

  • Bonus: familiarity with automotive, fixed ops, service lanes, dealership life, or B2B training.
